AKUA Mind & Body is a full-service mental health treatment facility in Costa Mesa that offers residential, outpatient, and virtual outpatient care in the Los Angeles & Orange County Region for men struggling with a mental health disorder.
Despite an estimated one in five people in the United States who are said to be dealing with some form of mental illness in any given year, mental health conditions and their treatment are still widely misunderstood.
AKUA’s clinical team takes a holistic, integrative approach to treating mental illness by combining traditional and complementary treatment modalities with health-oriented activities, brain healthy meals, mindfulness, and daily physical fitness to promote healing and wellness of the body and mind.
Additionally, treating males in a separate setting allows for male clients to concentrate on their recovery with minimal distractions and also allows male clients to feel more open in group therapy sessions about their feelings.

AKUA Mind and Body is a full-service treatment program that offers a wide range of “east meets west” treatment modalities for many different populations struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. We offer both intensive inpatient programs as well as outpatient treatment. AKUA Mind & Body works diligently with each client and their family to ensure that treatment plan is specifically tailored to their needs, and not just their disorder.
