Most Blue Shield HMO policyholders can now receive coverage for AKUA’s mental health” and addiction treatment services carved out to Magellan.

AKUA Mind & Body, a leading provider in the behavioral health treatment and recovery industry, is pleased to announce that it is now in-network with Magellan Health Services. Most Blue Shield HMO policyholders are now covered for mental health and addiction treatment services that are carved out to Magellan.

Did you know that AKUA provides Insurance Verification? As an in-network Magellan provider, AKUA will now be able to accept Magellan and most Blue Shield HMO plans as well. A simple call to AKUA’s friendly admissions team can help to determine clients’ in-network and out-of-network deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums and coinsurance percentages.
