The new relationship supports both the residential and outpatient levels of care.
Newport Beach, California:

AKUA Mind & Body is now in-network to accept Cigna Health Insurance, a global health services company. Cigna’s mission is to improve the health, well-being, and peace of mind of its clients by making health care simple, affordable, and predictable. This new relationship will support all AKUA’s residential and outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs, effective February 12, 2020.

“We are excited to join Cigna’s network of providers,” said Stephen Mercurio, President of AKUA Mind & Body. “We are committed to providing Cigna’s members the same level of care that we provide to all our clients, delivering a solid foundation for healing and transformation.”
