The entire team at AKUA Mind and Body is incredibly proud of how dedicated our staff works daily to provide the best treatment services possible for our clients and their families. In addition, we congratulate our fellow addiction treatment centers, who were also ranked in California’s top 80 treatment centers. AKUA Mind and Body-women’s residential treatment center scored 88.5% and was ranked 7 out of 80 for California’s best addiction treatment centers.

“In recent years, driven by things like the opioid epidemic and expanded health insurance coverage, the demand for treatment has expanded significantly. Finding the right treatment facility, however, can be a challenge. As part of Newsweek’s commitment to reporting on all aspects of health care — most crucially, covering what new developments could mean for our readers — this year, we partnered with global market research firm Statista Inc. to rank the 300 best U.S. treatment facilities that focus on addiction”.

About AKUA Mind and Body

AKUA Mind and Body is a full-service treatment center that provides residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, and virtual treatment to both men and women struggling with a substance use disorder, a mental health disorder, or both (co-occurring disorder). AKUA Mind and Body provides compassionate, evidence-based treatment to all individuals and their families. We combine evidence-based medications and psychotherapy approaches with holistic treatments such as meditation, yoga, and equine therapy, as we believe in treating the mind, body, and spirit.

Our clinical staff and ancillary treatment teams take great pride in the care that we provide to our clients and their families. From intake to discharge, we believe in treating the client as an individual and not just treating the disorder. As a result, we provide individualized treatment plans for every client. We offer our treatment services across many locations in California, including Orange County, Newport Beach, San Diego, and Sacramento.

Once a client completes our treatment program, we provide them with extensive recovery community resources and connect them with our alumni program. We believe that recovery does not end when you complete treatment. Recovery is a lifelong journey, and it is essential to stay involved in community and therapy after completing a treatment program at one of our rehab centers. AKUA Mind and Body accepts most private insurances. We encourage you to verify your insurance on our website so you can be prepared to enter into one of our treatment centers as soon as possible. Our staff will ensure you have the best possible chance of a successful recovery from intake and detoxification to treatment and discharge.
