Akua Mind Body Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Newport Beach

Addiction & Mental Health Treatment Newport Beach

Akua Mind Body offers Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Orange County for individuals who are struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.

The IOP treatment at Akua Mind Body is a lower level of care which means that it does not require hospitalization, around-the-clock monitoring, or even overnight stays but it does provide a thorough array of treatment approaches for both men and women.

Intensive outpatient mental health treatment requires individuals to obtain at least 9 hours of group and/or individual therapy per week which is divided up into 3-hour sessions 3 days to 5 days per week, for a duration of 12-16 weeks.

This part-time therapy approach allows individuals to continue their daily lives without leaving their jobs or families. In most cases, individuals have previously completed a higher level of care such as a residential treatment or partial hospitalization before entering into an intensive outpatient program. Most HMO and PPO Insurance Accepted.
